I offer Yin Yoga classes and wellness-based workshops to organizations or groups in Victoria. I am delighted to meet with you to discuss your needs and goals as they relate to your organization’s wellness initiatives, plus how my services can meet your needs. My workshops are experiential in nature – meaning no power points – with simple handouts to augment learning. Mindful Stress Mastery – Six Week Program + 1/2 day Retreat
This six week program is a great opportunity to step back and reflect deeply about how we generate stress and how we can orient ourselves to stressors in new and powerful ways. You’ll learn that there are no magic techniques, yet through developing body-based mindfulness you can better balance your energy and guide the mind towards less negative patterns. Discover how the stress phenomenon operates within you and how to apply body mind tools to break the stress cycle and reboot. This program blends lecture, experiential elements, discussion and home practice to give you a firm understanding of embodied mindfulness and how to use it realistically and creatively in your daily life. The 1/2 day retreat focuses on mindfulness meditation practices. Learning how to handle life’s stressors from the inside out is a must on the way to inner peace and life satisfaction.
Pathways to Balance – 2.5 Hour Workshop
Most people don’t know what balance means to them, so addressing it often happens too late — when a balance crisis hits. Feeling out of balance often arises when our needs are not being met in one capacity or another. Often the main reason they aren’t being met is because we haven’t consciously recognized, identified or honoured them. In this class, you’ll define what balance means to you, explore four key pathways to optimize personal energy, and the importance of body-based mindfulness in making choices that support your definition of balance. You’ll identify two core rituals to implement right away in daily life.
Yin Yoga Class
Yin is a quiet practice that provides an opportunity to slow down and tune into the intelligence of your whole body. Release deep tension, improve flexibility and increase circulation in the joints through long-held floor postures and slow movements. Mindfulness techniques are introduced to help calm the nervous system and de-stress in daily life. Leave feeling more balanced and renewed. All Levels.
